Pool Passes
Your pass can be used at all of the pools in Norwood. Pool passes
should be available sometime in April. Call Noreco at 531-9798 for more
information. Child $30, Adult $50, Family pass $110. We encourage
everyone to buy a pool pass this year. Get yours early!

If you have activity or fundraising ideas, or any suggestion
to make this the best season yet, we would love to hear from you. We are
looking forward to seeing you at Burwood Park and Pool this season!

Thanks to all of your hard work and support, the Norwood
Recreation Commission (Noreco) has decided to keep Burwood Pool open
this 2009 Summer Season. Noreco has also expressed a desire to seek
grant money to enlarge the shelter, picnic areas, and to replace some of
the playground equipment. Over the fall/winter a new roof was put on the
craft building. Also, thanks to Donna Laake and the recycling program
Burwood will be getting some new picnic tables.

Rebecca Schaen, Pat Jones and Robin Mace are planning on repeating
many of the events that were so successful last season. The first is
the Norwood Annual Park Clean-up scheduled for Saturday, April 25 at
9:00 am. We are planning on have 2 donation events this year and we
will be working with Noreco on the scheduling of these events. The first
event is the yard sale, the proceeds going to fund the float project.
This is tentatively scheduled for the end of May. We will update you as
to the exact date and time. The second event during the middle of the
season will fund the end-of-season cookout and party.
We have submitted our "Burwood wish list" to Noreco. If you would
